Easiest rental I have ever done
The agent was waiting in arrivals with a sign, the Golf was nearly new and spotless. No upselling at the desk and the deposit was released the day we returned it.

Fine, one small thing
The Golf was good and the pickup quick. A small scratch was not on the form, but they added it when I sent a photo on WhatsApp. Otherwise all fine.

Child seats already fitted
Two child seats were fitted and checked before we arrived. With two tired kids after a night flight that was worth a lot. The Golf had room for everything.

Good value for two weeks
With the two-week discount the Golf cost less than buses and taxis would have. Returned it at the airport at 5 in the morning, quick and friendly.

Flight delayed, no problem
Our flight landed three hours late and the agent was still there. Pickup took ten minutes including the photos of the car.

Delivered to our hotel in Tirana
They brought the Golf to our hotel at 9 sharp and collected it from Ksamil at the end. Paid in cash at handover, all easy.

Will I get exactly this car?
You get a Volkswagen Golf or a car of the same class, gearbox and size. If we ever have to change it, we tell you before pickup and you can cancel for free.
Can I drive it to Theth?
The paved road to Theth is fine, but for the gravel parts and Valbona we recommend a 4x4 such as the Dacia Duster.
Can I take it to Montenegro?
Yes, add the cross-border green card when you book (€40 for the whole rental) and bring your passport.
How much is the deposit?
€300 with standard cover, or €100 with full protection. It is released when you return the car.
